Our Story

It started with a simple belief — that good stone, delivered honestly, will always find its place.

In 1975, our grandfather took his first steps into the world of Kota Stone trading in Rajasthan. What began as a modest trading venture was built on something the market sorely lacked at the time — a commitment to doing business the right way. As demand grew and trust was earned, the family took a bold step forward. In 1995, we established our first processing unit, moving from trading to manufacturing — from sourcing stone to shaping it.

Today, Roongta Brothers Private Limited is a third-generation family business. What our grandfather started, our fathers built, and we are now taking it further — with modern infrastructure, expanded capacity and a vision to become one of India's most trusted Kota Stone processing hubs.

Why We Started Doing Things Differently

When we entered this industry, the market was unorganised and frankly, unreliable. Buyers would order a stone, and what arrived would differ in shade, size and finish from what was promised. Delivery timelines were treated as suggestions rather than commitments. Color inconsistency from lot to lot was accepted as a norm.

We refused to accept that norm.

We asked a straightforward question — if a buyer places an order, why should they not get exactly what they were promised, on time, every time?

That question became the foundation of how we operate.

How We Are Built Differently

We Control the Source Unlike most suppliers who depend on third-party quarries, we lease and mine our own quarries. This gives us direct control over raw material quality right from the ground up — ensuring color consistency, size uniformity and reliable availability across every order, big or small.

We Own the Entire Process From raw block to finished tile, every stage of processing happens in-house at our two state-of-the-art facilities:

This end-to-end ownership means no dependency on outside vendors, no quality compromises and no delays caused by someone else in the chain.

Our Infrastructure Our two processing units span across 60,000 square feet, equipped with modern automatic and semi-automatic machines alongside skilled craftsmen who bring precision and care to every piece. With a production capacity of up to 1,00,000 square feet per month and ready stock maintained across almost all finishes, we are built to serve both urgent requirements and long-term project pipelines without breaking a sweat.
